Aldi Is Opening 3 New Locations Starting This Month

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), a commercial real estate services company, declared Aldi the fastest-growing US supermarket after building 87 

stores in 2022. The German discount grocery business is the third-largest grocer in the country with 2,300 outlets, and it shows no signs of stopping off.

Aldi will launch three locations on Thursday, July 27, as part of its aim to open 120 outlets by 2023.

The Rensselaer, N.Y., shop is leaving 307 Columbia Turnpike. Aldi will permanently close that outlet on Wednesday, July 26, according to News10ABC.

"We are excited to provide local shoppers a revamped and refreshed Aldi store designed to make grocery shopping smarter, faster, and easier,"

Aldi Tully regional vice president Aaron Sumida told the news site. "We are always looking out for our shoppers and decided to move

 our Rensselaer store to make room for more fresh, high-quality products at affordable prices, which our loyal shoppers love."

The three new locations will open with ribbon-cutting ceremonies on July 27 at 8:30 a.m. From July 27 to 30, shoppers may compete to win a $500 Aldi gift card.

The first 100 clients in the Parish, Fla., and Rocky Point, N.Y., stores will receive a $100 "Golden Ticket" in addition to a limited quantity of free shopping totes.

Aldi will launch more stores next month after July 27. Urbana, Ohio's new grocery store opens Aug. 3. Aldi will open in Liberty Township, Ohio, and Landrum, S.C.
